4 Powerful Points of Inspiration

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Someone said something like this:

Motivation is like bathing; you can never have enough of it.

Just like bathing we need motivation on a regular basis to stay strong as we go about the things we do to create a better life for ourselves and for those we care about.

That’s the reason why I’ve decided to give you one more bout of motivation on this day.

1. You’re like gold.

Gold has to go through fire in order to be refined, become attractive and increase in value – so must you.

2. Focus.

Focus means directing your energy, knowledge, experience, and passion toward what you believe and desire from life. Visualize your dream, stay focused and you will surely achieve it in spite of the obstacles and frustrations.

3. Beware of what you hear.

If you live your life by what the mainstream media say and show every day, chances are that you will perish in discouragement. Instead, tell yourself, my nation may choose to be poor, but I have chosen to prosper, it may choose to beg, but I have chosen to give. And it shall come to pass as you will.

4. Increase your strength to deal with life’s challenges.

The problem with your cross is not about its weight. It has to do with your strength to carry it.

Rather than try to reduce the weight of your troubles, find ways to increase your ability to solve them.

Well, I got these from Ghanaian motivational preachers like Rev. James Saah, Bishop Charles Agyen – Asare, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan – Williams, Rev. Christine Doe Tetteh and Pastor Mensah Otabil.

If you truly are inspired by these inspirational titbits, don’t hesitate to share what you have in a comment below.

"We are each the authors of our own lives, ... We live in what we have created. There is no way to shift the blame and no one else to accept the accolades." This quote from Barbara Taylor Bradford's novel, "A Woman of Substance" sums up Ralph Nyadzi's world-view, what he stands for and why he is passionate about sharing with his readers the power behind this universal truth: The choices we make today determine what we will become tomorrow.
